Two Manhyia government clinic staff beaten

Two personnel of the Manhyia government medical institution, including a nurse, sustained various degrees of harm after spouse and children of a sufferer assaulted them.

Emmanuel Kutugel and Saliu Awudu were attacked via Kalilu Ahmed and Fuseini Abdul Rahman, siblings who had insisted on seeing their ailing mom external touring hours.

The alleged culprits went to the medical institution on Wednesday and asked to be allowed to enter the wards though it was once not but time for visits.

When the safety officer refused to grant their request, they pounced on him and beat him up.

The nurse, Mr. Awudu, who attempted to separate them and stop the commotion, was once also assaulted.

Following a misery call to Manhyia Divisional Police Command, the suspects have been arrested within the path of the exchanges.

Acting Commander, Superintendent Nana Dr. Samuel Nyamekye Adane- Ameyaw, condemns such misconduct.

“There was a cut on the face of the nurse; and appear a nurse who is attending to your in poor health mom who’s on admission you come and assault him

“I believe these humans must had been cheap enough.”

He questioned why the two gentlemen, despite the medical institution being a limited zone could attack the staff with none provocation.

“Even throughout wars, if a person runs to a medical institution or scientific middle, that man or woman just isn’t presupposed to be pursued via his attacker. It’s identical as anybody strolling to take refuge at an embassy of another country in warzones. You can’t enter to attack him. I need the individuals of Kumasi and Ghana to grasp this.”

though the 2, Ahmed and Fuseini Abdul Rahman were granted bail, police say they’d be arraigned before court to function deterrent for others.

“we’ve got processed them for courtroom. Although we’ve granted them bail, we’re nonetheless bent on processing them in order that it will serve as deterrent to themselves and to the public,” says Supt. Nana Dr. Adane-Ameyaw.
